My interest in theatre costume started when I was in my first musical
‘Call Me Madam’, when I designed and made a ‘stars and stripes’ waistcoat for our musical director. Since then I have been in many productions – musicals, pantomimes and plays and over the years my interest had turned from performing to costuming. |

I have always loved creative projects and get a real buzz out of seeing the finished product.
So far I have supplied and/or made costumes for:
• Oklahoma
• Out of Focus
• The Woman in White (I love crinolines!!)
• Secondary Cause of Death
• Cinderella (for professional company ‘Gobsmacked’)
• Pirates of Penzance
‘Pirates’ was my biggest project yet as there were 23 men in the show and I had just over 6 weeks to make costumes from scratch for all of them.
You can see photos from the above productions in My Gallery. |

| In 2004/5 I attended Inkberrow Design Centre near Redditch to improve my skills and knowledge and achieved a City & Guilds in Theatre Costume, Fashion Design and Pattern Cutting. I now feel I can turn my hand to most things and look forward to new challenges. |
